Alan L. Ulch, Inc. was established on September 9, 1971 when Alan Ulch was approached by Haven Federal to build affordable VA homes.
The firm entered the commercial market in 1974 building restaurants for Burger King, Ponderosa and Steak & Shake.
In the late 80’s Alan L. Ulch, Inc. took on larger and more complex commercial projects for clients such as Polk County School Board and the National Guard.
1983 began building and renovating homes in Mountain Lake.
1984 received the Energy Saver New Home Award from Florida Power Corporation.
The American Institute of Architects recognized two of our employees as Craftsman of the Year in 1992.
The firm partnered with Ceco Building System in 1992 and became an authorized contractor/dealer for their metal buildings.
In 2002 took on industrial clients as a design build capacity for expansion and future development purposes.
2003, 2005 & 2007 Alan L. Ulch, Inc. was recognized by Ceco Buildings Systems for exceeding sales volume.
2004 Developed long terms relationships with Industrial Clients to meet their needs concerning maintenance and repairs.
2007 one of our projects received an award for “Flatness of Concrete” by the National Concrete Association.
2009 Building of Distinction Award by Ceco Building Systems.
2009 awarded contract to build Winter Haven’s first LEED Certified home.
2010 DBE Affirmative Action Plan approved for three years by Florida Department of Transportation.
